Crossing The Rockies and the Okanagan

Free day to explore and use the hotel facility as you the room into the evening. Your Via Rail train leaves at midnight. Proceed this evening at your convenience to the Edmonton Station for check in.

Train departs at 00:01am. Your journey to Jasper is about six and a half hours. You will be in a Sleeper Cabin. Upon arrival in Jasper at 06:30am, you may check in at Whistlers Inn located across the street from the station. Rest of the day for you to explore Jasper Town.

This evening enjoy a Jasper Live Theater show starting at 08:15pm.

Morning pick up at 08:30am from the hotel for a Jasper National Park tour. Discover some of the most spectacular scenery in the UNESCO-listed Canadian Rockies, enjoying fun hikes and wildlife-spotting on the way, during this excursion to the Maligne Valley in Jasper National Park. You’ll visit Medicine Lake, Maligne Lake, Spirit Lake. The tour ends in the afternoon and you’ll be driven back to your hotel.

Enjoy an aerial view of Jasper National Park on a sky tram. Ride on the longest and highest guided aerial tramway in Canada. Take your visit to Jasper National Park to new heights with this ride aboard the area’s famous Jasper Sky Tram. Soar above the park’s sub-alpine vegetation, watching for wildlife down below, as you gently climb towards the upper station located at 7,425 feet (2,263m) above sea level. This family-friendly ride on the Jasper Sky Tram is the perfect experience for guests of all ages.

Today you board the Via Rail train to Kamloops.  Train rides from 09:30am to 06:30pm in economy seats. As this is a day-train you’ll have spectacular views when crossing the Rockies and the Okanagan Valley. Upon arrival, proceed to your hotel for check in.

After exploring Kamloops downtown at leisure, proceed to Sahali Mall Bus Station where you’ll board a bus to Kelowna. Bus departs at 01:00pm to arrive Kelowna downtown station at 04:10pm on 516 Lawrence Avenue.  Proceed to your hotel in Kelowna situated nearby for check in. Note: if you are energetic in Kamloops this morning, we can arrange a fun Scavenger Hunt for you. The duration for this hunt is 2 hours with an app installed on your cell phone. You may start at 09:00am that leaves you ample time for the bus ride to Kelowna.
